Commonly used national standards
GB12459: Standard for seamless steel butt welded fittings, applicable to carbon steel and alloy steel materials, covering types such as elbows and tees. ‌

GB/T14383: Standard for forged steel socket welded fittings, emphasizing the sealing and strength of socket welding process. ‌

GB/T9711: Standard for steel pipes used in the petroleum and natural gas industry. The new version of the standard will be implemented from March 2024 to align with international standards. ‌

HG20592 series: a specialized pipe fitting standard for the chemical industry, covering elbows, flanges, etc., with materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and composite materials. ‌

DL/T515: Standard for fittings in the power industry, focusing on special properties such as pressure resistance and temperature resistance. ‌

Latest technical specifications
The GB/T 28897 standard, released in 2024, specifies the material, process, and performance indicators of steel plastic composite pipe fittings, which are applicable to fluid transportation systems. ‌

Intrnational standard reference
During the production process, some enterprises adopt international standards such as ASME B16.9 and JIS B2311, especially in the production of exported products. ‌
