Application scope of reducing pipes

SHARE TO:

High pressure reducers (also known as reducers) are chemical pipe fittings used to connect two different pipe diameters. They belong to the category of high-pressure pipe fittings and are mainly used in industrial fields such as petrochemicals, power, and water conservancy [1-2]. Its core function is to achieve pipeline system transition through variable diameter connections, which are divided into two categories according to curvature radius: long radius (R=1.5D) and short radius (R=1.0D) [1].
This pipe fitting is divided into concentric and eccentric types according to its structure, and its materials include various types of metals and plastics such as carbon steel (20 #, Q235), alloy steel (16Mn), stainless steel (304, 316L), etc. The manufacturing methods include pushing, pressing and other processes, which comply with domestic and foreign standards such as GB12459, ASME/ANSI and DIN. The pressure rating covers 17 types from Sch5s to XXS
