The materials required for manufacturing flanges include steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, plastic, etc.
1、 Steel
Steel is one of the commonly used raw materials for manufacturing flanges, usually using carbon steel, alloy steel, etc. Carbon steel is commonly used in low-pressure and low-temperature applications (such as in industrial fields such as petroleum and natural gas), while alloy steel is suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure environments. Common steels include Q235, 20 #, 16Mn, 20Mn, etc.
2、 Stainless steel
Stainless steel has good anti-corrosion performance, so in some situations where high anti-corrosion requirements are needed, stainless steel is often selected as one of the raw materials for flanges. Common stainless steels include 304, 316, 321, etc.
3、 Copper
Copper is a good conductive and heat-conducting material, commonly used in flanges involving electrical connections. Copper flanges also have good corrosion resistance and are suitable for some strong acid and alkali environments. Common copper materials include T2, TU2, H62, etc.
4、 Aluminum
Aluminum has good thermal conductivity, long service life and other characteristics
